A House In The Trees
A House in the Trees are an alternative/dream pop collective from South London, U.K., created by Sam Hatchwell. The band are known for their reverb-laced guitar leads, trip-hop-infused beats, and ethereal vocal performances on tracks such as "Summertime" and "Tuesday Afternoon." They came together in early 2017 and began frequently writing and tracking ideas at a recording space in the Rising Sun pub in the New Cross area of London. They then put out the singles "Summertime" and "Tuesday Afternoon." Both tracks featured the vocal talents of Lucinda John-Duarte from fellow London-based alt-outfit Alaskalaska. They followed up by later putting out a debut EP, What Am I Supposed to Do?, via Handsome Dad Records in 2017.
