This debut album from Leeds' Marsicans follows a string of popular singles, and is their debut for Killing Moon. Their jerky indie rock, combining poppy melodies with muffled drums, shrieking, noisy rhythm guitar work, and impassioned vocals, is vaguely reminiscent of early-2000s bands like Franz Ferdinand. The album was recorded at the famous Rockfield Studios in Wales by Embrace's Mickey Dale (Glass Mountain, Talkboy, Faux Pas).
