Dieses Wonnegefühl entsteht auch, wenn Porter in die Rolle des croonenden Lovers schlüpft, wie zum Beispiel in If Love Is Overrated oder wenn er mit Faith in Love in die Fußstapfen von Marvin Gaye und George Benson tritt. Dank Troy Millers (Laura Mvula, Jamie Cullum, Emeli Sande) erstklassiger Produktion erlangt der amerikanische Sänger mit All Rise eine noch nie dagewesene Popularität.
