Tabitha Nauser
Tabitha Nauser (born on February 23, 1992) is a Singaporean R&B singer-songwriter who rose to fame in the late aughts with her participation on reality TV singing competition Singapore Idol. Born to a Swiss father and a Singaporean Indian mother, Nauser changed her dreams of becoming an anchorwoman after developing a love of music at an early age. In 2009, she auditioned for the third season of Singapore Idol, making it to the finals and finishing up in third place. Following her participation on the show, the singer’s career took off as she was invited to perform her song “Everyone” at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games. But it wasn't until 2017 that she made her official debut with the viral single “Bulletproof.” The song went straight to the top of the streaming charts and was quickly followed by “Body Language,” a collaborative track with Malaysian rapper SonaOne. Throughout 2018, Nauser worked with Grammy-nominated producer Michael Fatkin on the single “Rules” and served as opening act for American R&B singer-songwriter Khalid on the Asian leg of his American Teen World Tour. The Sacha Skarbek-produced single “Don’t Let Me Drown” arrived in 2019, as well as her independently-released debut EP “things i should have said.” The new decade found Nauser honing her craft and attending songwriting camps in London and Los Angeles, where she worked with A-list hitmakers like Dan Caplen, Aston Rudi, and Louis Salmon. This resulted in the release of singles “Keep My Distance” and “Vices,” which managed to get into the Singapore Top 200.
