North "2unes" Woodall
Guitarist North "2unes" Woodall is an adept performer with a style that touches upon jazz and R&B. A native of Dayton, Ohio, Woodall became interested in music at a young age. Largely self-taught, he was influenced early on by such genre-crossing artists as Santana, George Benson, Joe Walsh, and Ernie Isley. After spending his formative years playing with various groups around Dayton, he eventually relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, where he continued performing. An in-demand sideman and bandleader, Woodall has shared the stage with such luminaries as Roy Ayers, Lakeside, the Ohio Players, Millie Jackson, Tom Brown, Will Downing, and many more. As a solo artist he has released a handful of well-received albums, including 2005's Hot and Cool, 2007's Straight @ You, and 2011's Loving 2. In 2017, Woodall released the funky, fusion-influenced Between the Lobes.
