« Ceux qui connaissent Kei Koito, notamment chez les prédécesseurs de Bach, sont habitués à ses registrations colorées, à son impétuosité. Les autres risquent d'être surpris ! [...] Galvanisée par les timbres de l'orgue Scherer-Schuke et l'insondable richesse des combinaisons qu'il suggère, Koito insuffle un dynamisme magistral à ce répertoire. [...] Sous ses doigts, l'orgue évoque autant l'enivrante virtuosité de la musique italienne du XVIIe siècle que le souffle chaleureux des instruments à vent lorsqu'ils sont joués lentement (O lux beata Trinitas de Praetorius).
