Publié le 15 septembre 1971, ce premier album de Judee Sill fut également la première sortie d'Asylum, célèbre label de David Geffen. C'est surtout le trésor oublié d'une sublime folkeuse morte à seulement à 35 ans et dont la voix n'avait rien à envier à Carole King, Joni Mitchell ou Karen Carpenter. Sa poésie hippie flirtant avec le christique se drapait dans une musicalité pop folk bien de son temps, mais ne rencontra jamais le succès public. Le superbe songe éveillée d'une comète à redécouvrir donc, avec ici quelques prestigieux invités nommés David Crosby ou bien encore Graham Nash... © Marc Zisman
