In early 2012, Nashville singer and songwriter Canaan Smith scored a radio hit with the song "We Got Us," which took him from a young upstart looking for a break to a rising artist to watch. After spending several years on the road sharing stages with the likes of Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley, and Darius Rucker, Smith takes his next step with this self-titled EP, featuring his second hit "Love You Like That." Canaan Smith features two more radio-ready tracks, "Two Lane Road" and "Mad Love," as well as the rock-flavored "Hole in a Bottle" and the edgy yet romantic "Stuck." Produced by Brett Beavers, who has written material for Dierks Bentley, Kellie Pickler, and Tim McGraw, Canaan Smith gives this promising new artist more room to display his talent.
