Suite à Ma ruche et à sa réédition, tous deux publiés en 2020, le rappeur d'Épinay-sur-Seine Hornet la Frappe revient en 2021 avec Toujours nous-même, quatrième long format et second effort officiel. Fort des travaux d'une petite dizaine de beatmakers parmi lesquels Ani Beatz ou l'Allemand Ouhboy, l'album propose une collection de quatorze nouveaux titres aux saveurs variées et voit défiler les featurings de Ninho ("Gasolina"), de Maes ("Maison d'arrêt") et de Dwen, petit frère du MC, sur "Riche comme un Tuche". Propulsé par le single "Kadaba", Toujours nous-mêmes fait son entrée en troisième position des charts hexagonaux, confirmant le statut de son auteur sur la scène urbaine.
