Sa voix fraîche, ses mots éclatants, son style parfait vont comme un gant à Mozart, théâtre ou lieder : écoutez An die Einsamkeit. Liedersängerin, elle le fut absolument, comme le prouve le grand ensemble Schumann avec Eschenbach, elle y corse les mots et ombre son timbre, ou encore ses Wolf pleins d'une fantaisie nostalgique. L'éditeur [...] clôt la fête avec un album rare où elle chante avec Fassbaender, Schreier et Fischer-Dieskau dans les Liebeslieder-Walzer de Brahms.
