Priya Ragu est bien plus que cela : artiste R’n’B contemporaine ancrée dans son époque sonore, mélodiste insatiable, aimant par-dessus tout explorer les percussions et les imprégner de modernité. Deux ans après sa mixtape damnshestamil parue en 2021, la Suissesse revient avec un premier album intitulé Santhosam. Elle y explore tout ce qu’elle peut, de la pop-house à la soul, des rythmiques dancehall qui habitent le titre Hit The Bucket aux influences sri-lankaises résonnant par des voix, des mélodies, ces instruments qui portent la signature de son pays d’origine.
