Dallas rapper Yella Beezy had been releasing mixtapes since the early 2010s before his 2017 track "That's on Me" became a slow-burning success, racking up millions of views before gradually spreading to major rotation on radio stations throughout America. Full-length Ain't No Goin' Bacc arrived in November of 2018, the month after the rapper was hospitalized following a drive-by shooting; it was reported that he watched his BET Awards performance from his hospital bed. Ain't No Goin' Bacc is the rapper's first release for L.A. Reid's HITCO label, and the 20-track outing includes a version of "That's on Me" boasting guest verses by 2 Chainz, T.I., Jeezy, Boosie Badazz, and others. Additionally, the album features a remix of the Lil Baby-assisted "Up One" and guest appearances by Kevin Gates and YG. Ain't No Goin' Bacc debuted at number 76 on the Billboard 200 chart.
