Tom Helsen
Compared to the likes of Buffalo Tom and Counting Crows, Tom Helsen is a Flemish singer/songwriter who first attracted attention after finishing second at the 1996 Humo's Rock Rally Contest. After releasing his self-titled debut album two years later, he followed it up with 2001's Tom Is Doing Great, 2004's More Than Gold, and 2007's Hilite Hotel. He achieved his biggest hits on collaborations with Regi ("Night & Day") and Geike Arnaert (the chart-topping "Home"), while in between the recording of 2008's Five-Oh and 2009's single "Home," he became a judge on Steracteur Sterartiest. In 2011, he scored his highest-charting album with The Truth About That Girl & Me.
