Teezo Touchdown

Futuristic R&B, trap, melodic pop-punk, and more are swirled together in Teezo Touchdown's kitchen sink approach to pop music. The Texas-born rapper, singer, and producer fearlessly shifted gears without notice on his 2023 studio debut How Do You Sleep at Night? Born Aaron Thomas in 1992, Teezo Touchdown grew up with a father who was a practicing DJ. He was exposed to a wide range of sounds at an early age and began producing and DJ'ing himself while he was still in high school. His professional career began in the late 2010s with several self-released singles and videos. In 2019, his song "100 Drums" interpolated a Panic at the Disco! song and caught on nationally. He was soon collaborating with bigger artists like Tyler the Creator and Kenny Beats, and in 2022 he performed as a support act on the Call Me If You Get Lost tour alongside Tyler the Creator and Vince Staples. In 2023, Teezo appeared on tracks on wildly successful albums from both Lil Yachty and Travis Scott before releasing his own studio debut full-length, How Do You Sleep at Night?, in September of that year. The album was a blend of diverse styles and production choices, and included guest spots from Janelle Monáe, Fousheé, and Isaiah Rusk.
