Taleban Dooda

Taleban Dooda's melodic brand of rap hit headlines in 2020, with the tracks "Tru Colors" and "2 in Da Morning" blowing up and earning huge streaming figures. Dooda delivered his debut album, Fallen Angel, in 2021, following two collaborative releases with Rees Money. The eight-track mini-album White Chalk & Yellow Tape appeared in 2022. Growing up in Tampa, Florida, Taleban Dooda had been inspired while still at school by his love of R&B and hip-hop and by artists such as Eminem, Bruno Mars, and John Legend. Following a string of freestyles posted to social media, Dooda started to take rapping seriously, and in 2019, he started to collaborate with Rees Money. Following a handful of singles, including 2019's "LLQ" and "Ride It," Dooda released "Tru Colors" in 2020. With the track blowing up on social media and video streaming sites, "Tru Colors" made the industry take note. Following its release, Dooda issued two albums -- Love Is Pain and On Go, Vol. 1 -- with Rees Money while continuing to branch out on his own. The track "2 in Da Morning" appeared in mid-2020, again gaining massive streaming figures and cementing Dooda's position as one of Florida's best up-and-coming melodic rappers. 2021 saw him deliver a string of new material before presenting his debut solo album, Fallen Angel. He closed out the year with the EP Risk It All. Seeing in 2022 with the track "Foreigns & Trackhawks," Dooda continued to issue new material before releasing the eight-track mini-album White Chalk & Yellow Tape in late 2022; it also included the hit "2 in Da Morning."
