Omar Courtz

Known for his distinctive voice, trademark pink hair, and magnetic stage presence, Omar Courtz is a reggaeton and Latin pop singer/rapper and songwriter from Puerto Rico. Born Joshua Omar Medina Cortes in 1997, he was attracted to the thrill of the urbano scene and lifestyle from an early age, and started posting songs when he was barely into his teens. Spotted by Pitbull, who promptly recruited the young artist for his label MR.305 Records, Courtz had his first viral hit in 2020 with "En Su Nota." Over the next few years his profile grew exponentially, and he accrued millions of views across media platforms, releasing dozens of singles and collaborating with some of the genre's biggest stars. Courtz had a banner year in 2023, when he was featured on Pitbull's "Me Pone Mal," Daddy Yankee's "BEACHY," iZaak's "Bonnie and Clyde Remix," and Quevedo's "En Alta." His long-delayed first EP was scheduled for release in mid-2024.
