Ilona Mitrecey
French techno-pop hitmaker Ilona Mitrecey was all of 11 years old when she rose to national fame via her breakthrough hit single, "Un Monde Parfait." Mitrecey was born September 1, 1993. Her father was a professional singer, while her mother worked at the publishing house Michel Lafon. "Un Monde Parfait" first hit in Italy in mid-2004 -- credited to Très Bien featuring Ilona and based on a traditional Neapolitan melody, the single was not released in France until early 2005, spending 14 weeks atop the French pop charts and becoming a smash throughout much of Europe. The follow-up, "C'Est les Vacances," hit retail that summer, and in the autumn Mitrecey issued her debut LP, inevitably titled Un Monde Parfait. Laissez-Nous Respirer followed in late 2006.
