Golden Vessel
As Golden Vessel, Australian producer Max Byrne writes introspective, melancholy downtempo electro-pop inspired by artists like James Blake, Bonobo, and Glass Animals. Most of his songs feature guest vocalists, including fellow Australians Caleb Hodges (the Art of Sleeping) and Lastlings. Golden Vessel's first single, "Stairwell," received airplay on Australian radio station Triple J immediately after Byrne submitted the track. In 2015, Golden Vessel released the singles "Control," "Borrowed Time," and "Can't Stay." His biggest year yet came in 2016, when he released the Before Sleep EP and toured across Australia. The following year, he issued the single "Tell the-Girl" featuring Emerson Leif which appeared on his EP Right/Side. Taking a break from the short releases, he issued a trio of singles in 2018, including "Hesitate" and "Moonstone."
