Die Stoakogler
Austrian volksmusik ensemble Die Stoakogler performed traditional Austrian music for over four decades. Formed in 1968 in Gasen, Styria, Austria, Die Stoakogler originally consisted of three brothers: Fritz, Hans, and Reinhold Willingshofer. As Das Stoakogler Trio, the group released many albums over the years beginning with 1971's Das Stoakogler Trio Spielt Auf. In 1993, Reinhold Willingshofer retired from the trio and was replaced by Franz Böhm, after which the trio changed its name to Die Stoakogler. On September 3, 2011, Die Stoakogler ended their long career with a farewell concert.
