Angie Fisher
Active as a performer since her early teenage years, Angela Fisher -- who has also gone by Angie Fisher -- has toured and recorded as a background vocalist for dozens of artists. Among the higher-profile artists Fisher has assisted are Michael Jackson, Chaka Khan, Mary J. Blige, Andrea Bocelli, Michael Bublé, and Rod Stewart. As a solo musician, she caught the ears of the Hidden Beach label's Steve McKeever, who subsequently signed her to the onetime home of kindred spirit Jill Scott. Fisher's first single for the label, "I.R.S.," was a bluesy retro-soul belter released in 2014. The song was produced by B. Slade.
