While Super #1's is far from the first Intocable greatest-hits compilation, it's one of the best and most concise in that it rounds up all except one of the group's chart-topping hit singles to date. It also tacks on a few bonus tracks, most notably the new songs "No Puedo Volver" and "Muerto en Vida (Voy a Odiarte)." Super #1's starts with Intocable's first-ever number one hit on the Billboard Regional Mexican Songs chart, "No Te Vayas" from the album Llévame Contigo (1996), and proceeds chronologically with "Vivir sin Ellas" and "Eres Mi Droga" from Intocable IV (1997). These early hits are also compiled on Intocable's other greatest-hits albums, Lo Mejor de Intocable: 12 Super Éxitos (1997), 14 Grandes Éxitos (2001), and La Historia (2003), but what you won't find on those albums are seven of the 13 chart-topping hits compiled on Super #1's. The seven chart-toppers that postdate those earlier greatest-hits albums include "Eso Duele" and "¿A Dónde Estabas?" from Nuestro Destino Estaba Escrito (2003), "Aire" and "Contra Viento y Marea" from Diez (2005), "Dame un Besito" and "Bastó" from Crossroads (2006), and "Tu Adios No Mata" from 2C (2008). The only chart-topper missing is the group's most recent, "Hay Ojitos" from Classic (2009). In its place is "Mojado," Intocable's hit single collaboration with Ricardo Arjona from his album Adentro (2005). Along with the aforementioned couple of new songs, it's one of three bonus tracks tacked onto the end of Super #1's. Among the several Intocable greatest-hits collections on the market, La Historia is the most comprehensive with 20 tracks spread across two discs and with a DVD featuring 12 videos. Though Super #1's isn't as comprehensive, featuring only 13 of the group's chart-topping hits, it's more concise and covers a greater time frame. Casual fans who want only the biggest hits are therefore best served by Super #1's, which is tilted in favor of Intocable's post-millennial output.
