This budget collection from BMG International compiles Rick Astley's first three albums into one set. They're included in their entirety, and Astley's hit singles -- "Never Gonna Give You Up," "Together Forever," "She Wants to Dance With Me" -- still sound great. The Free material, however, marked a departure in Astley's pleasant dance-pop sound, and doesn't quite fit here. Casual listeners are much better off with his installment of RCA's Platinum & Gold Collection series, which includes his best singles with almost no filler.
