吳汶芳

Born Wu Wenfang in Fengshan, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan on March 23, 1990, Fang Wu is a Mandopop singer and songwriter signed to Linfair Records. She first came to prominence as one half of Taiwanese pop duo BabyFace in 2006. The duo became contestants on the second series of televised talent competition Super Idol in 2008 and came in fifth place. In 2009, the duo split when her musical partner Xie Guangtai joined the military. During their time together, BabyFace released an EP and an album. As a solo artist, Fang Wu participated on the fourth season of Super Idol in 2010, and won sixth place. In 2011, she formed Double 2 and released two singles. Fang Wu’s fresh and innocent vocals caught the attention of the internet and she chose to focus on songwriting and a solo career. In 2013, she released two songs for the soundtrack to the 2013 film The Pursuit of Happiness. She also began to write songs for other artists including Pete Tseng and Clair Kuo & Jing Wen Tseng, In 2015, she released her debut album I’m Promising. The single “Accumulated Loneliness” was a success, as were some of the album’s other tracks, which were featured in films and television productions in Taiwan. She released her second album, Pieces of Me, in 2017. Along the course of her career, she received many endorsements, played high profile concerts, and appeared on many television programs. In January 2021, Fang Wu released the single “Thinking of You”.
