Ashla Taylor

A native of McCalla, Alabama, Ashla Taylor is a contemporary country-pop singer who released her debut EP, Truth Is..., in 2017. Taylor first started singing as a child, performing in the Pentecostal choir in her father's church. Inspired by pop and R&B, she nevertheless gravitated to country, so she moved to Nashville as a young adult after graduating from Samford University. After recording some material in the Music City with Will Rambeaux and Sherrie Austin, she finished her debut in Asbury Park, New Jersey with producer Steve Greenwell. The resulting Truth Is... appeared in 2017.
