On their seventh studio album, Beautiful Offerings, Big Daddy Weave deliver another set of reliable, straightforward contemporary Christian rock with rousing passion, crafting soaring praise & worship songs with an adult contemporary sheen. Entering the Christian album charts at number four (their second-highest charting album on the Billboard Christian album charts and their ninth release for Fervent Records), Beautiful Offerings brims with an earnest yearning and a sweet sincerity similar to secular artists like U2 and Snow Patrol. Mike Weaver's vocals recall John Mayer or Marcus Mumford, which have great effect on the spiritual pleas that bolster tracks like "The Lion and the Lamb" and "Glory Unspeakable."
