Jamies Elsewhere
Sacramento-based hard rock outfit Jamies Elsewhere channel the aggressive emo-tinged melancholy of bands like Sparta, Taking Back Sunday, and Chiodos while maintaining an allegiance to melodic punk rock. Formed in 2005 around the talents of vocalist Chris Patterson, keyboardist/vocalist Mike Spearman, drummer Anthony Scarpelli, bass player Nick Rodriguez, and guitarists Matt Scarpelli and Anthony Carioscia, the group signed to Victory Records in 2007 on the strength of its self-released EP and relentless touring and D.I.Y. work ethic. The band's debut album, Guidebook for Sinners Turned Saints, was released in May 2008.
