Demarcus Kelly

North Carolinian gospel singer DeMarcus Kelly emerged in the latter half of the 2010s as the inaugural signing to the Synergy Media label. His powerful voice guided 2017's ebullient DeMarcus Kelly Presents: The Sound and led to live appearances with industry heavyweights like Tye Tribbett and Tasha Cobbs-Leonard. He followed up with his second live outing, Endless Pursuit, in 2020. Born and raised in Mt. Olive, North Carolina, Kelly came up through the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, where he served as Minister of Music, formed the community choir Youth N' Praise, and led a number of youth revivals. A few years after his 2012 ordainment as a reverend in the Missionary Baptist Church, he was the first artist to sign with the Greenville-based Synergy Media & Entertainment firm and released his debut studio single, "I Am Yours," in 2016. His live album debut, DeMarcus Kelly Presents: The Sound, followed a year later as he established himself within the national gospel community, sharing stages with KJ Scriven, Travis Greene, Tye Tribbett, and others over the coming years. While also serving as a worship leader at Charlotte's Have Life Church, he continued to record, releasing a 2019 studio single, "Victory," and his second live album, 2020's Endless Pursuit, which featured guests like Lejuene Thompson and Isaiah Templeton.
