Tumbleweed Junction
Jam band Tumbleweed Junction was formed in northwestern Pennsylvania by Mark Benson (guitar, vocals, mandolin, harmonica), Peter Haver (guitar, vocals), Justin Meyers (bass), and Dave Stephen (drum, percission). They worked the regional frat and bar circuit before relocating to Atlanta, GA in 1995, where their unique mix of rock, blues and jazz (with just a tinge of acoustic bluegrass) earned them a reputation as a live act. Their self-produced debut album, Out of Ford City, was released on their own Tumbleweed label in 1998.
