Sara Liu
Sara Liu is a Chinese pop singer who established herself by competing in numerous national talent shows in China, most notably the 'Supergirls' franchise which she took part in during 2009 when she was ranked fifth in the show's fourth season. The contest is watched by an audience of millions and any contestant who makes it into the final stages is almost guaranteed to be able to use the TV exposure to launch a successful singing career. Prior to appearing on the show Liu had already began her career as a recording artist and had released a debut EP in 2007 titled 'Sara' followed up by 'Sara's Sky' in 2008, consequently the show helped boost her popularity.
After appearing on 'Supergirls' she was signed by the influential artist management agency EEMEDIA and early in 2010 released her debut studio album. Her distinctive singing voice makes her songs instantly recognisable by audiences and since her debut album her career has gone from strength to strength. Liu has now recorded five studio albums the most recent of which was 'I Like It' which she released in 2017.
