Paul Strausman
Paul Strausman has performed at concerts and festivals, his music pleasing parents along with their children. His recordings have won him a number of awards, such as the American Library Association Award and the Gold Seal Award for Notable Children's Recording. His works, aimed for children from pre-school through early elementary, are full of joyful tunes that children love to sing along with, like "Daddy Long Legs," "The Letter Game," "Play My Drum," and "Emil the Camel."
Strausman recorded his first release, Camels, Cats and Rainbows, in 1986 under the Gentle Wind Record label. Two years later he recorded The World's Big Family and Rainbows, Stones and Dinosaurs. Blue Jay, Blue Jay, full of play-along activity songs, was released in 1997.
