Gabriel Day

Spreading the gospel through his honest rhymes, American minister and rapper Gabriel Day takes experiences from his rough upbringing and transforms them into positive messages of hope and faith. Debuting in the 2010s, he issued a trio of albums -- The Message, Signs, and Church -- before the end of the decade. Born in Rome, New York and based in Columbus, Ohio, Day was raised in the church but turned toward a life of hustling, drugs, and drinking during his youth. After a life-changing epiphany, he returned his heart to God and looked back only to extract life lessons for his songs. He debuted in 2013 with first album The Message, which was re-issued by Tate Music Group in 2014. After founding a company focused on concerts, events, and community outreach, he released his sophomore effort, Signs, in 2017. Featuring bass-heavy contemporary production, Signs was recorded with guests Marquita Lyles, Schuyler Johnson, Jodie Jermaine, and more. By 2019, Day was signed with IndieBlu Music and released his third effort, Church. The album marked Day's first placement on the Billboard charts, landing him in the Heatseekers Top Ten and in the Top 30 of the Independent and R&B/Hip-Hop lists.
