Eternal Gosh
Eternal Gosh! Is a Burmese alternative pop and rock band formed in 2013 in Yangon Myanmar (AKA Burma, located in Southeast Asia). The band was initially composed of members Han Nay Tar (lead vocalist/songwriter), Wai Gyi (guitar), Ar Ray (drums), and Moe Wai (bass). The band started by playing the local clubs, refining their sound and building an audience over the next four years. In 2017, they started attracting interest from major labels and music publishers when they released their first EP, Your Surprise is Our Heartbeat (Y.S.I.O.H). They signed a record contract and released their debut album, The Red Sky (Kaung Kin A Ni), in October 2017. In 2018, Moe Wai left the band and was replaced by bassist Bon Bon. The band asked guitarist Yee Mon Oo to join, making Eternal Gosh! a quintet. Belatedly, The Red Sky single “Moe Ma Kha Eain Mat Kha Yan Pyar” was released in March 2019, climbing all the way to Number 1 on the singles chart. In February 2020, Eternal Gosh! won the award for 2019’s Most Popular New Artist Award during the City FM 18th Anniversary Music Awards show. That same year, the band released the single “Lu Nge Thet Tant”.
