Douglas Gamley
Douglas Gamley was an Australian-born composer/conductor/arranger who, in addition to working in the film industry in England from the 1950s through the 1980s, also appeared as a conductor and arranger on various pop-instrumental albums and as an accompanist on a handful of opera-related classical crossover albums. He also wrote "stock music" for the BBC library, some of which made its way into the Dr. Who television series, but his most visible work was in a movie that was generally regarded as a bomb at the time of its release, the Disney film Tron, which has since acquired a serious cult following.
