Canadians
Although their group name suggests otherwise, Canadians (no "the") are actually a band based out of Verona, Italy, and their sound, just to confuse things further, has a distinct California feel full of sunshine, summer, and girls. Formed in 2005 by Duccio Simbeni (vocals, guitar), Michele Nicoli (guitar), Massimo Fiorio (bass, vocals), Vittorio Pozzato (keyboards, vocals), and Christian Corso (drums), the band released a self-produced EP, The North Side of Summer, that same year. The EP garnered a lot of favorable press and the group signed with Ghost Records, issuing the full-length A Sky with No Stars on the Ghost imprint in 2007.
