Axenstar
Swedish power metal band Axenstar arose from the ashes (guitarist Peter Johansson, bassist Magnus Ek, and drummer Pontus Jansson, to be precise) of melodic deathsters Miscreant, adding vocalist/guitarist Thomas Eriksson and keyboardist Magnus Eriksson in time for 2002's Perpetual Twilight debut. A second album entitled Far from Heaven quickly appeared a year later, but the band has been silent in recent years.
