Afgan

Indonesian pop singer Afgansyah Reza (aka Afgan) uses his versatility to incorporate elements of rock, soul, R&B, and jazz. The winner of countless awards in his home country, he made his international debut with 2021's Wallflower. His talents were first noticed after he and some friends went to Wanna B Instant Recording Studio to create their own private album. While Reza was recording his vocals, the producers and studio owners were impressed by his skills, offering him a contract as a result. Off the back of this came his debut album, 2008's Confession No. 1. The following year, he was awarded Best Solo Male Vocalist at the Anugerah Musik Indonesia. Afgan's second album, The One, materialized in 2010, preceding his appearance at the 2011 Southeast Asian Games, where he sang the theme song. He went on to release three further albums, 2013's Live to Love, 2016's Sides, and 2018's Dekade. Afgan returned in 2020 with the single "Tunjukkan" in collaboration with Raisa and the track "I'm Sorry," which appeared in early 2021. This preceded Wallflower, his first album aimed at a global audience.
