8TURN
K-pop boy band 8TURN are known for their hyper-sonic blend of pop, electronic dance music, and hip-hop. They debuted in 2023 with the mini-album 8Turnrise, followed quickly by Uncharted Drift. In 2024, they reached the Top Five of the Korean albums charts with their third mini-album, Stunning.
Hailing from Seoul, South Korea, 8TURN were formed in 2022 by MNH Entertainment. The group features Myungho (main vocalist, main dancer), Jaeyun (leader, main dancer, lead vocalist), Minho (lead vocalist, sisual), Yoonsung (lead dancer, sub-vocalist, visual), Haemin (sub-vocalist, sub rapper), Kyungmin (lead dancer, lead vocalist, sub-rapper, center), Yungyu (main rapper, sub-vocalist), and Seungheon (lead rapper, sub-vocalist, maknae). In January 2023, they released their debut mini-album, 8Turnrise, which featured the song "Tic Tac." It reached 13 on the Circle Albums chart. A second mini-album, Uncharted Drift, arrived five months later and returned them to the Top 20. In January 2024, they delivered their third mini-album, Stunning, which included the single "Ru-Pum Pum." It peaked at number three on the South Korean albums chart.
