With two 2013 Ultra festivals under their belt (one in Miami and one in Seoul, South Korea), it was time for Montreal’s EDM duo Adventure Club to put some substantial product on the shelves (digital, virtual shelves included). The Calling All Heroes EP is not just substantial, it's weighty, kicking off with the dreamy dubstep number "Gold" with vocalist Yuna. The supreme electro-twirling and dubstep-thumping closer "Thunderclap" means the highlights bookend the set, but the middle two, "Wonder" and "Crash," are well above filler. A short yet satisfying debut.
