Thomas Jefferson Kaye
The late Thomas Jefferson Kaye was a musician, songwriter, and producer responsible for a number of classic pop records, including ? and the Mysterians' "96 Tears," the Shirelles' "Soldier Boy," and Loudon Wainwright III's "Dead Skunk," to name just a few. In 1973, he recorded his first, eponymously titled solo record, followed a year later by First Grade. Kaye's final recording was an all-star affair called Not Alone.
