Tales Of The Town
Tales of the Town is a multimedia project that shines a light on Oakland's Black history, in the form of a podcast, a documentary, and an album.
It began as a podcast hosted by Abbas Muntaqim and Delency Parham, the hosts of the Hella Black Podcast. For the album portion of the project, they brought together a variety of Bay Area musicians to capture the broad nature of the music scene, including artists such as G-Eazy, Rexx Life Raj, Elujay, Jane Handcock, and J.Stalin.
