Pier Paolo Vincenzi
Pier Paolo Vincenzi is an Italian pianist and educator. In his youth, he took lessons in his hometown of Orvieto, and continued his studies in Terni, where he graduated from the Institute Musicale Pareggiato "G. Briccialdi." Studying under Pier Narciso Masi at the music school of the Sesto in Florence, Vincenzi participated in master classes, and went on to receive a bachelor's degree in chamber music performance at the International Academy in Imola. He also studied piano with Massimiliano Damerini, Alexander Lonquich, Guido Salvetti, and Martin Hughes. Vincenzi has toured Italy and performed as a concerto soloist, chamber artist, and recitalist. He teaches piano at the Municipal School of Music in Orvieto and is a professor of chamber music at the Music Academy of Florence. In 2013, he released a recording of the complete solo piano music of Richard Wagner to commemorate the composer's 200th birthday.
