James Walker
Producer and conductor James Walker has stood behind a large library of classical repertoire recordings since the '80s, including quite a bit of Fryderyk Chopin and several outstanding collections of performances by brilliant vocalist Joan Sutherland. Vivid closeup recordings of soloists are one trademark of Walker's productions, a feature, for example, of sides featuring violinist Henryk Szeryng playing the Brahms Violin Concerto in D, Opus 77.
