Craig Richards
Veteran tech-house DJ/producer Craig Richards plugged himself into the U.K. club scene as an organizer and promoter. He settled in at London’s Fabric club, where he established himself as a director of music programming and a resident DJ. In 2001 -- a year after teaming with Lee Burridge as Tyrant for a self-titled mix on Distinct’ive Breaks -- Richards initiated his employer’s long-running Fabric mix-CD series and went on to present the 15th and 58th volumes, respectively, in 2004 and 2011. He also mixed for other imprints, including Sinedín and Orson, and released the occasional 12” single, including a collaboration with Portuguese producer Rui Da Silva.
