Clara Chung
Clara Chung (October 31, 1987), aka Clara C, is an American singer-songwriter whose career took off after winning several talent shows around the Los Angeles area. Born in New York but raised in California, Chung got her degree in psychology at the University of California, Irvine, in 2010. That same year, she won the Kollaboration LA competition with the original single “Offbeat,” whose accompanying video accumulated over 13 million views on her video streaming channel. Her studio debut, Art in My Heart, also arrived in 2010 and prompted a mini-tour throughout the US. Esc, her sophomore effort, dropped in 2012 and was quickly followed by Organika (An Acoustic Album) in 2013. After disappearing from the public eye for a few years, Chung reappeared on the soundtrack of the 2016 South Korean film Champ and contributed to the soundtrack of South Korean television series 18 Again with the song “Somebody,” released as a single in 2020.
