Chaqueño Palavecino
Argentine singer/songwriter Chaqueño Palavecino learned how to play guitar when being a teenager, soon, joining a threesome called Pilcomayo. Palavecino's first album was called Para Mis Abuelos Esta Zamba, recorded in Tucumán in 1987, followed by El Tío Pala in 1989. The artist's breakthrough came while participating in Cosquin's festival in 1998, a year later, becoming a major number at the same traditional music event. In 2001 Chaqueño Palavecino's Por Culpa De Ser Cantor reached the Top 10 in Argentina.
