Aubrey
Allen Saei (aka Aubrey, named after a cartoon character) began spinning turntables at the age of 12 and learning how to scratch and mix soon after. In addition to becoming a well-known DJ in the underground local scene, Aubrey started a successful record store. In 1990 under the moniker of Panic, he debuted with "Voices of Energy" followed by a Wax Factory EP with contributions from Chris Simmonds and Jack Smooth. In 1995, Josh Brent from Shatrax joined him to ensemble Cheap Knob Gags. Aubrey's first full-length record, called Liquid Funk, was released in 1999.
