Aly & Fila
Aly & Fila is a duo formed by Aly El Sayed Amr Fathalah and Fadi Wassef Naguib, two Egyptian DJs and producers of trance and EDM. Inspired by artists such as Paul van Dyk and the Thrillseekers, Aly & Fila achieved international recognition in 2003 with the single "Eye of Horus." Endorsed by heavyweights such as Armin van Buuren and Tiësto, the duo was soon appearing in discos and festivals all over the world. Since 2012, however, Aly had to quit the stage due to an ear infection and work mainly in the studio. In 2010 Aly & Fila released their debut album, Rising Sun, on their own label, Future Sound of Egypt, named after their popular radio show. It was followed by Quiet Storm (2013), The Other Shore (2014), The Chill Out (2015), and Beyond the Lights (2017).
