AKB48 Team TP

With a total of 42 original members over their two generations, Taiwanese all-girl band AKB48 Team TP is the fifth international sister group of Japanese idol group AKB48. The group is divided into three units: Daisy, Bellflower, and Sakura, all of which are represented through a different color. The auditions for the group were held between 2015 and 2017, and they made their debut in 2018 with the single “Mae Shika Mukanee,” whose original version went straight to the top of the Oricon charts. In the subsequent years, AKB48 Team TP continued their winning streak with the singles “TTP Festival” (2019), “LOVE Hsiuhsing” (2019), “Only Today” (2019), and “Kan chien hsi yang le ma?” (2019), followed by “Uh Ho Uh Ho Ho,” “Pen p'ao pa ch'i e,” and “Hallo CENTER” in 2020. A year later, AKB48 Team TP returned with the single “Ticktock Promise,” entering the Top 50 of the Mandarin Singles chart at Number 26.
