Acha Septriasa
Indonesian actress and pop singer Acha Septriasa was born in Jakarta on September 1, 1989. While attending high school in 2006, she starred in the Indonesian film Heart and sang several songs — including "My Heart," which was named Best Song at the 2006 MTV Indonesia Movie Awards — on the movie's platinum-selling soundtrack. The following year, Septriasa landed the lead role in Love is Cinta and, once again, contributed music to the film's soundtrack. Keputusan Hati, her debut as a solo artist, was released in August 2009. Although Septriasa focused on her film career during the following decade, movies like 2011's Love Story and 2012's Broken Hearts made use of her vocal talent, as well, with Septriasa appearing on the soundtracks for both films.
