ABS
Turkish-Irish descent Richard Abidin Breen aka ABS used to sing and dance Michael Jackson's hits before he started DJ-ing. His passion for dance-pop music led him to join the British boy band 5ive, who disbanded in September, 2001. Soon after, executive producer Simon Cowell signed him up as a solo artist. In August, 2002 ABS debuted with the release of the UK Top Ten single "What You Got," featuring samples from Andrea & Donna's 1970s reggae hit "Uptown Top Ranking."
